The Link & Option Center, Inc. is bringing together Founding Partners comprised of corporate, healthcare, philanthropic, and community leaders to the historic OBAMA Presidential Center around a very specific challenge: how we bring access to timely mental healthcare directly into underserved communities, meeting people where they are across Chicago’s South Side and South Suburban communities regardless of their ZIP code.

Rather than simply sponsoring an event, we are investing in high-impact community transformation by advancing mental health equity where it is needed most—especially for individuals who face barriers to accessing care.

What It Means to Be an Inaugural Founding Partner

Founder Partners of the Mobile Mental Health Equity Initiative | Transforming Mental Health Care through Mobile Mental Health Clinic, will help build lasting infrastructure that brings integrated medical, physical, crisis services, and behavioral health care directly into high-need neighborhoods.

Founding Partners help build, launch, and sustain the access infrastructure required to reach people earlier and connect them to ongoing treatment. We are organizing the partnership around five commitments:

INVEST — Provide multi-year financial or in-kind resources that help launch, scale, and sustain the mobile mental health equity initiative.

CONNECT — Open doors to hospitals, employers, municipalities, schools, faith communities, foundations, and neighborhood organizations.

REFER — Help create reliable, closed-loop pathways that connect residents to screening, treatment, crisis services, and continuing CCBHC care.

MEASURE — Support accountability by reviewing access, engagement, referral, equity, and outcome indicators.

ADVOCATE — Use institutional voice and leadership to elevate mental health access as a regional priority.
